Mexicans protesting U.S. border fence briefly block bridge leading into El Paso, Texas
sourceCIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico Activists protesting U-S immigration policies today briefly blocked three lanes of an international bridge leading into El Paso.
Hundreds of protesters marched for several miles to the Mexican side of the Sante Fe bridge, in the downtown section of Ciudad Juarez. The blocked much of the bridge for about a half hour before withdrawing.
Perhaps we can get them to just line up accross the entire border and block it, instead of constructing a fence. This would save millions of dollars!
sourceThe march served as the kickoff for the First Social Border Forum, which will begin tomorrow and run through the weekend in Ciudad Juarez. The gathering will discuss the impact of border policies on migrants, the environment and human rights.
Migrants will be able to pass as ussual. Illegal aliens will be blocked by the fence. They have no rights in America while they are standing on the Mexican side. This fence is going to impact the enviroment, like the Alaskan Pipeline?
