Perhaps there is a smidgen of progress here. But, let's stop spending time on useless immigration legislation and let's spend time and money on enforcing existing immigration laws.

"We agree that we cannot support the Senate amnesty bill," House Speaker J. Dennis Hastert said. "This Democrat immigration bill wouldn't secure the border. It would erase it."
