Chirac Acts like an Abused Person
"It is not my role or my intention to comment on the Pope's statements. I simply want to say, on a general level ... that we must avoid anything that excites tensions between peoples or between religions," Chirac said on Europe 1 radio.
IT IS his role to speak out! Wake up Mr. Chirac, the Muslims and the entire world can see that you are afraid. You speak out about every thing else, but you are afraid to speak out against the violence inherent to Islam. Just as an abused person would believe, Chirac is of the opinion that we should not "excite tensions," because you will not get hit if you do not give the abuser a reason to hit you. And, if you do get abused, it must be your fault because you must have provoked it.
"We must avoid making any link between Islam, which is a great, respected and respectable religion, and radical Islamism, which is a totally different activity and one of a political nature," Chirac added.
Yes, perhaps Chirac is right. Let's take a look at who is really committing acts of terrorism:
In 1968 Bobby Kennedy was shot and killed by Middle Eastern Islamist.
In 1972, 11 Israeli athletes were killed at the Munich Olympics Middle Eastern Islamist males.

In 1985 the cruise ship Achille Lauro was hijacked, and a 70-year-old disabled American passenger was murdered and thrown overboard by Middle Eastern Islamist males.
In 1985 TWA flight 847 was hijacked at Athens, and a U.S. Navy diver wasmurdered by Middle Eastern Islamist males.
In 1988, Pan Am Flight 103 was bombed by Middle Eastern Islamist males.
In 1993, the World Trade Center was bombed by Middle Eastern Islamist males.
In 1995, a plot to blow up U.S.-bound international flights over the Pacific Middle Eastern Islamist males.
In 1998, the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania were bombed by Middle Eastern Islamist males.
In 2000, 17 sailors died in an attack on the USS Cole (DDG 67) in Yemen by Middle Eastern Islamist males.
